last updated : Wed 9th May 07 The second Cottingham Springboard Live Music Festival takes place on Friday night, 10th August, and all day, from 12.30pm util 11.30pm, on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th at the King William Pub, Cottingham, near Hull in East Yorkshire. The festival is completely free and hosts a wide range of music styles including blues, folk, indie and jazz. Performances take place in the Acoustic Lounge and on the Main Stage in The Old Brewery Room. The confirmed acts include: veteran folk rocker - Michael Chapman (headlining on Sunday night); Adrian Byron Burns; The Nocturnal Flowers; and Guy Gibson. Click here for the full line-up. GETTING THERE The King William IV is approximately ten minutes walk from Cottingham railway station. The rail journey between Hull Paragon railway station and Cottingham takes only seven minutes. Cottingham and Willerby are also very close to each other, five minutes by car and if using public transport the number 64 bus connects the two villages.
