The sixth Cosmic Puffin Festival will take place from Friday 3rd until Sunday 5th May 2013 at Mersea Youth Camp, Mersea Island, in Essex.

The festival is staffed and run entirely by volunteers in aid of Bliss, the special baby care charity and The National Autistic Society for people with autism and Asperger syndrome.

Line-up

There will be three main stages, and Something Else Tea Tent.

Friday Cosmic Stage: The Majestic, The Struck Bats, Pete Thomson Band, Ocelot, Skagills, Doozer.
MyChoonz Stage: Dr Hasbeen, Tarana & Third Gold Bird, Spirits of the Earth

Saturday Cosmic Stage: The Activators, Fashoda Crisis, Abdoujaparov, Surfquake, Paradise 9, Jamie Williams & the Roots Collective.
MyChoonz Stage: Spiral Navigators, Krankschaft, Nukli, Mr Mountain, PFRP (People's Free Republic of Pandemonium), The Tea Project, The Peyote Band, Schroedinger's Cat.

Sunday Cosmic Stage: Aurora, Dubbal, The Dead Monkeys, Deviant Amps, Deferred Sucess, Scratch Infected.
MyChoonz Stage: Aurora, Strange Agency, Flutatious, Paradise 9, One Eyed God, Dogstooth, Tang, Tanglemist.

Tickets

An early bird adult ticket is priced at £45 until 10 days before the festival. Teen Early Bird Tickets (For Ages 12-16) are priced at £25. Day tickets will ONLY be available on the gate and do NOT include camping. To buy tickets, click here.

On site

The festival will be on the beach with an indoor stage overlooking the sea from the Bar. There will be a variety of local and not so local foods available, plenty of crafts, healing and activities for everyone including a Kids Area full of fun things to do and make, as well as workshops available. The festival will also offer real toilets and warm showers, and welcomes campervans.

Charities

The festivals' intention is to raise money and awareness for BLISS (helping babies born too soon), and The National Autistic Society.
