Cosmic Puffin Festival 2009

Cosmic Puffin Festival is a new festival which will take place over the Easter weekend Friday 10th until Sunday 12th April 2009 at Mersea Outdoors, Mersea Island, in Essex.

The currently confirmed acts playing over two stages include Optic Nerves, Laura Younger, WeirdGear, Fancy Dress Party, Hokie Joint, Rhizomes, Hotwired, Ministry Of Loud, DJ Kozmik Ken, DJ Wierditude, Electric Dub Guru, Mr Pink, Dyframix, Shom, Nanobots, Wind Of Change, The Starfighters, Spirits Of The Earth, Bubbledubble, Litmus, Earth Lab, Peyote Guru, and Xenon Codex. The festival will be on the beach with an indoor stage overlooking the sea from the Bar. There will also be a Marquee for the second Stage outside, and workshops available. The festival will also offer real toilets and warm showers, and welcomes campervans.

The festivals' intention is to raise money and awareness for BLISS(helping babies born too soon) and NAS(National Autistic Society) both of which are very worthy registered charities.
