Organised by the same people as T in the Park, and renamed Hydro Connect, the festival takes place at the beautiful Inveraray Castle, Loch Fyne, Argyll (around 60 miles north of Glasgow), for around 20,000 people, and aimed at a more mature and affluent audience.

For the green-friendly option you can travel by coach. Special bus services, provided by Citylink are available from key cities across Scotland and England including London, Manchester, Preston, Birmingham, Newcastle, Wakefield, Sheffield and Scotch Corner - call 08705 505050 or log onto www.citylink.co.uk/connect08.html for more information.

Both the car parks and coach drop-off point are a fair walk from the campsite entrance, so make sure you don't take more than you can carry.

The entrance to the festival has changed. The entrance that you will use to enter the festival depends on the mode of transport you use to get there. If travelling by bus then you must enter at the Inveraray Entrance/Gate (close to the castle gates) - even if you have a camping ticket. If travelling by car you must enter via the Bridge Entrance - even if you do not have a camping pass.

More information will be here when available.
