A mid-winter festival presenting both national and local artists, many of whom perform, and are available to meet at one or many of the events taking place over the weekend.

The 14th Cheltenham Folk Festival takes place from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th February 2010.

Line-up

The line-up has now been finalised and includes:
Friday
Lau, Hérétique, Trio Threlfall, Maz O’Connor, Niamh Parsons & Graham Dunne, Life & Times, Barron Brady and Gordon the Hedgehog.

Saturday
The Demon Barber Roadshow, Tom McConville Trio, Ashley Hutchings & Ken Nichol, Mawkin:Causley, Grace Notes, Trio Threlfall, Hérétique, Maz O’Connor, Niamh Parsons & Graham Dunne, The Navvy’s Wife, Roving Crows, Housewives’ Choice, Barron Brady and Blair Dunlop.

Sunday
Faustus, The Fay Hield Trio, Hérétique, Tom McConville Trio & Band, Trio Threlfall, Maz O'Connor, The Ram Company's Waltzers & Wonders, Life & Times and Roving Crows.
Most of the events take place in the Cheltenham's Edwardian Town Hall but there are also free Singers' Sessions, plus dancing in the streets.

On site

Food includes vegetarian dishes, and there are real ales too. The town centre and all-day car parks are within a few minutes walk.

Accommodation

Indoor camping
is available at around £25 for the weekend or around £10 per night at St Luke's Church Hall. No campers under 16 years of age. Facilities include toilets, showers, kitchen and disabled access.
B&Bs
- there are plenty of these within walking distance of the Town Hall.

Tickets

Individual concert tickets are dependent on availability although many artists appear more than once over the weekend. Camping is not included in the ticket price. An adult weekend ticket is priced at £66. Children under 11 years are admitted free; 11-16 year olds tickets are priced at £35. Concessions are available for the unemployed, retired and disabled.
