Rochester Castle Concerts are a series of four evening concerts held at Rochester Castle, Rochester, Kent from Wednesday 15th to Saturday 18th July 2015.

Line-up

Wednesday headliners Status Quo, supported by Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, and Thursday headliners Peter Andre and Blue supported by Jermain Jackman, and Friday headlining act Billy Ocean, with support from Cheryl, Mike and Jay (formerly Bucks Fizz), and Sara Cox. Sunday's headliners are The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra with Laura Wright, and Jonathan Antoine, and The Proms Castle Concert finale.

The Status Quo performance was cancelled, a statement from organisers said, "Rick Parfitt from Status Quo has been taken ill and therefore tonight’s show has been cancelled. We wish Rick a speedy recovery and would like thank the audience for their co-operation and understanding. We will be rescheduling the Status Quo concert for Wednesday 13th July 2016. Valid tickets for tonight’s show can be exchanged for the 2016 show by calling the Box Office on 01634-338338 from 10am on Monday 20th July. Other Castle Concerts this week will go ahead as planned."

Tickets

Tickets for each day were priced at £37.50 and have sold out.

Opening times

The castle gardens will be open as usual during the day. The gates will be closed to the public from around 4pm when people without concert tickets will be asked to leave. The venue will then re-open to ticket holders only.

Facilities

A range of hot and cold snacks are available in the castle gardens. Two bars, selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, will be open during the concerts. They will close 30 minutes before the end of each concert. Food and drink is permitted in the venue but no glass items.

Seating

Tables and chairs will be permitted but not tents or awnings. A limited number of seats will be available and issued on a first come, first served basis.

Amenities

Toilets are available within the castle grounds. No barbecues or gas cylinders will be permitted under any circumstances. No dogs (except guide dogs) or other pets will be admitted.
