The 2009 Camden Crawl returns over the weekend Friday 24th and Saturday 25th April 2009, to present around 150 acts performing in 40 venues over the two days.

The acts confirmed for 2009 include An Experiment On A Bird In The Air Pump, Bleech, BLK JKS, Dan Black, Drums Of Death, Eacho & The Bunnymen, The Fall, Fight Like Apes, General Fiasco, Hexe, I Blame Coco, It Hugs Back, Jim Jones, Josh Weller, Kasabian, Little Comets, Madness, Man Like Me, Peggy Sue, Pulled Apart By Horses, S.C.U.M., The Barker Band, The Chapman Family, The Computers, The Enemy, The King Blues, The Temper Trap, Three Trapped Tigers, Sparks, The View, Von Bondies, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The 2009 Crawl will, in addition to its line-up of live music acts, also feature an array of interactive daytime activities and cutting edge performances across the arts, including comedy with Underbelly & Falling Down With Laughter, visual art, arts & crafts, spoken word with Apples & Snakes, Bloody Awful Poetry, and Bookslam, speed hating, bingo & quizzes, short films, speed hating, spoken word, karauke - you sing they play ukulele, theatre, and more.

The programme kicks off from midday on Friday until the early hours of Sunday. Upon arrival each ticket holder will be presented with an all-access wristband, programme guide, timetable and a free download album.

One ticket, available as single or two day passes, will allow unlimited access to all Crawl venues, after show parties and daytime activities. The evening line-ups are selected by a committee of music industry types, including radio DJs, club promoters, journalists and record labels. The most hotly tipped acts will appear on the bill both days, alternating venues on Friday and Saturday. All other artists will perform on one day or evening of the event only.

'Crawlers' are granted unlimited access to all official festival venues featuring more than 150 live artists, daytime activities & arts programme and aftershow parties capacity permitting. The full line-ups and stage times remain a closely guarded secret until each night and surprise guests may appear at any time and at any venue.

The venues being used will include:
Daytime Venues: Bucks Head, Camden Tup, Edinburgh Castle, Fifty Five, Good Mixer, Jazz Cafe, Lock Tavern, NW1, Spread Eagle, The Enterprise, The Hawley Arms , The Pirate Castle, and Upstairs at World's End.
Evening Venues: Barfly, Bullet, Cuban Bar, Dublin Castle, Earl Of Camden, Electric Ballroom, Fifty Five, Jazz Cafe, KOKO, Lock 17 Dingwalls, Purple Turtle, Roundhouse, The Black Cap, The Monarch, The Oh! Bar, and Underworld.

Wristbands and programmes announcing the full line ups and timings are obtainable from 11:00 am onward each day at the Camden Crawl ticket exchange point located at The Roundhouse, Chalk Farm Road. Please note that 2-day pass holders will need to return to ticket exchange to collect Saturday's timetable. Festival goers are advised to arrive early as there will be a full daytime programme on both days from 12:00 pm. Doors open for evening schedule at 5:30pm at most venues. There will be late night after show parties featuring live bands and DJs until 4:00 am both days.

This year will include the Red Bull Bedroom Jam X-Crawl, an alcohol-free version of the festival happening on the Saturday 25th April with tickets exclusively available to 14 to 18 year olds unable to attend the main event due to licensing restrictions, featuring 25 of the best up and coming artists from around the country alongside amazing DJs and special guests.
