The 17th Wallingford Bunkfest takes place from Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September 2018 in Wallingford, Oxfordshire offering music, a craft fair, Children's BunkFest, over 40 real ales, vintage displays, special attractions, music on river boats and vintage trains, and a storytelling fringe.

Line-up

The confirmed main stage acts are:- Talisman, Mad Dog Mcrea, Hope & Social, Rusty Shackle, The Crimps, The Epstein, Mr Tea & the Minions, Megan Henwood, and Hot Rock Pilgrims.

Other acts appearing include:- Against the Grain, Band of Hope, Beard of Destiny, Bearwood, Amanda Shora, Colin Bailey, Caroline Watsham, Cats Chorus, Ciicrus Street, Dirty Bizzness, Francis Pugh and the Whisky Singers, Matthew Beesley, No Petticoats Here, Noah's Cape, Peter Joshua, Robert Butrick, Shiraz, Splodge, Steve Daniels, The Ironics, The Pete Fryer Band, The Skeptics, Waterfahl, Who Stoned Who?, Wolfnote, and many more.

Expect events to have FREE admission except The Singing Train, the Boat Trips and Camping.

Camping tickets are on sale, priced at £18 for one night or £35 from Thursday to Sunday.

Bunkfest describes itself as "a leading event on the nationwide folk and roots music scene, with fabulous concerts, dance displays, ceilidhs, sessions, workshops, a huge craft and trader fair, arts for young people, an enormous beer festival, music on the river and a singing train. It is also a major event for the benefit of the town and surrounding villages.".

Camping

Camping is available, an adult camping ticket (Thursday - Sunday) is priced at around £35 or £18 for one night only. A youth (5 - 18 years) camping ticket (Thursday - Sunday) is priced around £15, or £9 for one night only. A child aged under 5 camping ticket is free. Youth & child tickets can only be bought with an adult ticket.

Caravans and campervans are welcome but must be booked in advance. Advance bookings for camping tickets will be given a reference number redeemable for wristbands at the Wristband Exchange in the Festival Box Office & Shop (or the Campsite if selected at time of booking). Wristbands will be fitted by BunkFest staff and must not be removed or damaged - you may be refused entry if your wristband is torn. Lost or damaged wristbands cannot be replaced. The Campsite Office will be open Thursday 12.00-21.00, Friday 10.00-21.00, Saturday 08.00-21.00, Sunday 08.00-12.00. Camping tickets may also be purchased there.

Dogs

Please note that no dogs except Assistance Dogs are allowed on the Campsite or anywhere else at Wallingford Sports Park. If you wish to bring a dog there is an independent campsite which allows them if kept on a lead - Bridge Villa Caravan and Camping Park - Tel: 01491 836860. There are also 2 boarding kennels nearby; Downlands Boarding Kennels - Tel: 01491 651053 and Avalon Boarding Kennels & Cattery - Tel: 01491 836103.

Accessibility

Most BunkFest venues have good disabled access. If you are disabled and are visiting the festival with a carer, the carer will be admitted free to any ticketed event which you are attending (but must book ticket).
