The Bristol Harbour Festival, takes place on Bristol's harbourside from Friday 31st July until Sunday 2nd August 2009, featuring entertainment, fun and frolics for all ages.
The FREE festival will play host to international and local artists on eight stages, the line-up has not yet been announced however Transglobal Underground are set to perform on Sunday.
The Millennium Square stage at the Harbour Festival will showcase Bristol's circus and street theatre talent, programmed by Cirque Bijou, with street performers from all over the world, aerial and acrobatic displays, juggling and comedy characters.
At the centre of the Harbour Festival are the ships and boats. Tall ships, feature vessels and hundreds of private boats from far and wide, anchor up for the festival, providing the backdrop to the entertainment and a fireworks display on Saturday night.
