The second Bournemouth Folk Festival will get going on the evening of Friday 23rd before a full day on Saturday 24th March 2012 at the Bournemouth International Centre in Dorset. This is the sister festival to the Purbeck Folk Festival.

Line-up

Friday
Tregonwell Hall: Urban Folk Quartet, Korasong Radio, Fearne, Alex Roberts.

Saturday
Tregonwell Hall: Martyn Joseph, Martha Tilston And The Woods, Andy Cutting, Emily Barker And The Red Clay Halo, Mike Dawes + Amy Turk, Cut-A-Shine Ceilidh Band, The Moulettes, Grupo Lokito.
Purbeck Lounge: Jigfoot, Malcolm Bishop, Megan Henwood, Les Wild, and many more.

Tickets

An early bird adult weekend ticket is priced at £40, and a youth (aged 10 -17 years) ticket is priced at £25. To buy tickets, click here.

As well as music there will a 'we teach you how' ceilidh, workshops, and sessions. Theses will be hosted by Jeremy Avis running a singing workshop, accordeon with Andy Cutting, songwriting with Martyn Joseph and guitar accompaniment with Alex Roberts.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
