The 11th UK international Boogie Woogie Festival will be held at The Club Room, Sturminster Newton British Legion, Bath Road, in Sturminster Newton, in Dorset from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th July 2015, and was formerly the 'Fomag' Boogie Woogie festival held in nearby Fontmell Magna.

Line-up

The first acts confirmed are headline acts Jean-Pierre Bertrand, Big John Carter, Luca Sestak, and Chris Corcoran Trio.

The festival encompasses acts performing the form of piano music that is boogie woogie. Performing in concert, will be internationally acclaimed boogie woogie and blues pianists from the UK and from all around the world.

Early bird tickets are priced from £65 for an all event pass, with tickets for children undfer 14 years half price. An all event ticket for Saturday is priced at £45.

There are also workshops in boogie woogie piano, swing and tap dance, drumming, history of boogie woogie and more with special workshops for children. There will also be informal sessions for enthusiastic boogie woogie pianists with a traditional bar room setting. Plus there will be food, wine, and real ales on offer at the inn.
