Blues On The Farm '11

This year sees the 20th Anniversary of Blues on the Farm which plays host annually to 8,000 people and is held just south of Chichester, West Sussex over four days from Thursday 16th to Sunday 19th June 2011, and features classic and contemporary blues, blues-rock, soul and roots music.

The farm location is a 40 acre setting on the Sussex Coastal plain a couple of miles south of Chichester and is easily accessible just a couple of miles from the sea and from the city centre and main line station.

Line-up

There will be 20 acts as a special 20th anniversary line-up.
The acts confirmed are Gary Brooker (Procul Harum) and No Stiletto Shoes to headline Friday. Also confirmed for Friday are Never the Bride, King King, The Brass Knuckle Blues Band, Ian Parker, Will Wilde, + 1 more TBC.

Saturday's line-up sees Walter Trout headline, plus Connie Lush, Errol Linton, Oo-Bop-Sh'bam, Rodney Branigan, Midnight Train, 24Pesos, and Chi College Band.

On Sunday Marcus Bonfanti headlines with Todd Sharpville, Ben Prestage, The Revolutionaires, The Curst Sons, Hat Fitz & Cara Robinson, The Curst Sons, + 1 more TBC.

On the Thursday evening there will be a pre-festival 'Beer Tent Sessions' for campers from 7.30 pm to 12 midnight. Friday will be the first full day and will be extended with a much earlier start (1pm) with 5 or 6 bands, while on Saturday and Sunday there will be 6 or 7 bands each day.

Tickets

Early bird tickets are no longer available. Tickets are priced at £99 for the weekend, and a child (under 14) weekend ticket is priced at £49.50. Adult day tickets are priced at £35, and child day tickets are priced at £17.50.
Children must be accompanied by an adult purchasing a ticket.

Caravans & Motor-Homes £12.50 per night

On site

The main stage is contained in a massive marquee with adequate space for all attending whilst the festival's own dedicated beer tent offers at least a dozen real ales together with lager, stout and he award-winning Appledram Cider which is made on site at Pump Bottom Farm. There is a range of food outlets to suit all tastes.

Car Parking

Car parking is right next to the festival site so no long walks to the event.

Camping

A large campsite for tents, motorhomes and caravans is available for all four nights. The campsite opens at 12 noon on Thursday morning. Camping is available priced at around £40 for all nights and is on well mown grass fields and all the usual services are provided. An electric hook up is expected to be priced around £25.

Children

Children are welcome and the whole atmosphere is like one big party.
