Bloom Festival 2008

The dates for Bloom 2008 are confirmed as Friday 8th to Sunday 10th August. The site has been confirmed as being at Seven Springs, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

Bloom describes itself as "a boutique festival of cultured electronic beats and bass". Expect around four arenas with a blend of up-and-coming and established groups, artists, DJs and labels. Sounds will include music from a plethora of genres including electro, house, hip hop, jazz, funk and drum'n'bass. There's also comedy and cabaret.

Artists confirmed so far include headliners on Saturday Stereo MC's, with other acts including Autokratz, Trojan Soundsystem, Ewan Pearson, Florence and the Machine, Freeform Five, High Contrast, Hot8 Brass Band, James Yuill, Justin Robertson, Kraak & Smaak, Kissy Sell Out, London Breakbeat Orchestra, Meat Katie, The Part Time Heroes, Roni Size "Reparazent" (live), Roisin Murphy, Scratch Perverts, Shuffle, and Tunng. Expect a whole array of fancy dress, impromptu performance, ferris wheel, fire shows, installations, live art, bingo, 1920’s DJs in full costume, circus acts, designated kid zones, a range of holistic therapies in the Bloom Vegetable patch, markets and a selection of quality, organic eateries.

'Early bird' tickets have finished, full priced tickets are £85 for adults, Kids (5-15yr) £30, under-5s FREE, and campervans £25. Adult day tickets are also available priced at £35 for any day. Click here to buy.
