The new home of traditional metal rock music, with exclusive performances, and three stages.

Bloodstock Open Air festival will take place from Friday 12th until Sunday 14th August at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire. The aim is to offer a traditional metal event comparable to those regularly seen in Europe (but on a smaller scale of 6,000-10,000 capacity), and capturing the spirit of the original Monsters Of Rock shows which used to take place at Castle Donington during the 1980's and 1990's.

Line-up

Motorhead are Sunday headliners, and W.A.S.P. are Friday headliner and Immortal Saturday headliner (both festival exclusives) with Rhapsody Of Fire their special guests, with Devin Townsend Project, Kreator, Napalm Death, Ihsahn, Nevermore, Morbid Angel, Exodus, Coroner, The Defiled, Skeletonwitch, Therion, Triptykon, Angelwitch, Lawnmower Deth, October File, The Rotted, and At The Gates also confirmed. Plus HammerFall, Poisonblack, Byfrost, Deadly Circus Fire, Primevil, Grave Digger, and The Sirens, with many more announced. Facilities

As well as the international heavy metal bands across three stages, Bloodstock offers a large selection of merchandise stalls, metal karaoke, a campsite and a wide selection of food and bars.

Tickets

The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are on sale priced at £105 for adults, and £11 for a car parking pass. A child (aged 4 - 11 years) ticket is priced at £40. Day tickets are expected to be on sale at a later date. To buy tickets, click here. To buy child tickets click here.

Theme

Bloodstock will pay tribute to Hammer Horror legend Vincent Price, who would have been 100 this year, with a Hammer Horror theme on the Friday of this year's festival. The festival are asking fans to come as their favourite morbid monsters, with prizes on offer for the most impressive costumes.
