Behind The Castle Music Festival has been cancelled. Organisers made a statement saying,

"We're sorry to announce the cancellation of the festival due to ticket sales not reaching expectations. WE ARE ARRANGING FOR ALL TICKET MONEY TO BE REFUNDED. This will take several days - all those who have purchased tickets through Out & About will be contacted with details of how to obtain the refund. We would politely ask that you wait for the instructions from Out & About rather than contacting them - they will contact you when they're ready to begin.

Those who purchased through Sherborne Tourist Office can obtain a refund there.

Obviously we are extremely disappointed that the festival is not going ahead but would like to thank everyone involved for their support, encouragement, friendship and understanding."

Back for a 2nd year Behind The Castle Music Festival is held in the grounds of Sherborne Castle on Saturday 13th June 2015 and set among 40 acres of 'Capability Brown' landscaped gardens around a 50 acre lake.

Line-up

The Waterboys, Show of Hands, Larkin Poe, Seth Lakeman, Nizlopi, Moulettes, Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin, The Willows, Emily Maguire, Lizzyspit, Miranda Sykes and Rex Preston, Megson, Jaywalkers, Tom James, ODi, Aimee, and Emily Barker.

Adult : £46 (with camping : £55)
Young Person (8 to 17 inc.) : £25
Child under 8 : Free
Family 2 Adults + 2 Young Persons : £125 (with camping : £143)
Family 1 Adult + 2 Young Persons : £85 (with camping : £94)
Campervan/Caravan Pass (requires camping ticket(s)) : £8
Under 18's camping is free.
There are no car parking charges and there will be no booking fees.
