Beautiful Days is a 3-day festival, held in the grounds of Escot House, near Fairmile, in Devon for a capacity crowd of 13,500.

This festival is the brainchild of the Levellers who first put together their own festival in 2003. The band always open and close the event with two performances.

Past headliners also include KT Tunstall, Gogol Bordello, Echo & The Bunnymen, Killing Joke, Michael Franti & Spearhead, The Wonderstuff, Billy Bragg, The Stranglers and Lee 'Scratch' Perry. The festival has also seen memorable performances from artists including Dreadzone, Gomez, New Model Army, Alabama 3, Bill Bailey, Dub Pistols, Dylan Moran, Flogging Molly, Asian Dub Foundation, Seth Lakeman, Steel Pulse and The Proclaimers.

Beautiful Days is a nice size, with a friendly crowd, and great entertainment, with a lot of work put in to decorating the site to increase its festival feel. The festival is popular with people of all ages and backgrounds.

The festival attracts many people from right around the country, and a great deal of those are also fans of the Levellers. It also attracts a lot of young families, as it offers a lot of activities for young children to participate in.

There's five stages of live music, a selection of stalls and eateries, a large Children's Area, camping, family camping, live in vehicles area, and a disabled camping area. There are two main bars, a village shop, cashpoints, and showers on site.

On Friday, the gates open at around 9am, with the music starting at 6pm on the two main stages and lasts until midnight - with the other smaller stages offering late night entertainment until around 2am. On Saturday the music is from midday until the same end times, and on Sunday music runs from midday until 11pm on the main stage, with most of the other stages finishing at 9.30pm.
