Line-up
Topping the bill on Friday night is Newton Faulkner followed by The Wailers. Headlining on Saturday night are James. As is tradition the festival founders Levellers headline the festival on the Sunday night followed by a the usual fireworks spectacular to end the weekend. Also announced are Billy Bragg, Fairport Acoustic Convention, Bellowhead, Easy Star All Stars, Show of Hands, New Model Army, African Head Charge, The Slackers, The Alarm, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, The Aggrolites, Krafty Kuts, Citizen Fish, Dervish, Wilko Johnson, and more. For the line-up details as available please click here.This year's theme has been announced with the festival embracing the Chinese Year of the Tiger, with the theme being Stripey Sunday.
Tickets
An adult weekend camping ticket will be priced £100, child (10 to under 16 years of age) weekend camping tickets are £60, children aged 5 to under 10's weekend camping tickets are £30 and under 5's weekend camping tickets are £5. Campervan passes are £35 and car routing/parking passes are £15. Tickets are on sale to On The Fiddle (OTF) members for priority booking until Thursday 31st December. Please make sure you purchase tickets for the age your child will be when they attend the festival, not their age at the time you buy.
The festival will once again be offering free tickets for carers, disabled/flat camping and parking - all of which must be booked in advance.
The festival which is licensed for 12,000 will feature music across five stages, and street theatre, as well as site art and sculpture, lots of children's activities a huge children's area in the centre of the festival, theatre, comedy, family camping, camping facilities, licensed bars from local company Otter Brewery, world food, craft stalls, fancy dress, a 'village shop' on site, and more. There is plenty of family camping close to the car parks.
Also announced is Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage Canteen which will offer food in the cafe, with the River Cottage team also running workshops and talks during the weekend.
The earliest entry for weekend ticket holders is 9.00am on Friday 20th August and festival goers must be off site by midday on Monday 23rd August. The gates will close for entry and re-entry at 3.00pm on Sunday 22nd August.
