The Levellers first put together their own festival in 2003 "to offer not only the best in live music today but to re-create a community spirit that many events nowadays lack or choose to ignore. This event is about people young and old coming together and taking part in something that will be remembered for a long time." It's certainly succeeded in that aim, and is fast becoming one of the most popular and talked about festivals in the UK.

The Levellers are of course going to play, and they'll be joined on the bill by a host of musicians and bands from around the globe. The festival features music, and street theatre, as well as site art and sculpture, children's activities, camping facilities, licensed bars, world food, craft stalls and more.

The line-up has now been announced, and the Levellers are joined as headliners by Gomez and Killing Joke, with acts such as reggae legends Steel Pulse, Eighties indie heroes Echo and the Bunnymen, Martha Wainwright, The Proclaimers, ska legends The Selecter, Hayseed Dixie, Cara Dillon, Karine Polwart, Buzzcocks, Bhangra drummers Dhol Foundation, Seth Lakeman, and Larry Love Showband all on the bill. For the fuill list of confirmed acts (as available) click here.

All vehicles including campervans will be parked in the surrounding car parks, and each vehicle must have eather a parking ticket or campervan ticket. Live-in vehicles may park in the car parks outside the festival but not inside or in the camping arenas. No glass or dogs allowed anywhere on site, no exceptions.
