Fifteen contrasting stages play host to an array of musicians, including a few musical heavyweights, as well as a selection of local talent. The festival is independently funded and has no involvement in corporate organisations, nor does it receive any sponsorship. The festival has a high attention to detail with every inch of the site taken into deep consideration.

The three day Beatherder festival takes place in The Ribble Valley, Gisburn, Lancashire, with the dates for this the ninth year are confirmed as slightly later in the month (due to the Tour de France) on Friday 18th until Sunday 20th July 2014.

Beat-Herder prides itself on being a different festival experience to any other and this year festival goers can expect 15 completely unique, craftsman built stages including the mighty Main Stage, the oriental mystery of The Fortress, the heady atmosphere of The Woods, the Trailer Trash Big Top, the cosy Snug, the incredible, authentic Working Men’s Club (step inside, you could literally be in Todmorden in 1971) and many, many more beside.

Tickets

Tickets have SOLD OUT they were priced on tiers and started at £95 (the final tier 4 - £120). A child ticket for those aged 12 and under is priced at £20, car park passes are priced at £10, and live-in vehicle passes are £25 - please buy in advance. Prices do not include booking fees.

A deposit scheme was also available.

Payment plan

There was a payment plan available, which breaks the ticket price into 5 bite-size chunks, these are automatically taken at monthly intervals starting from the day you make your first payment.

Fancy dress

The fancy dress theme for 2014 is the letter 'H' - think Hobgoblins, hedgehogs, hermit crabs, hussars, Hell’s angels, helicopters, Henry Winkler, The Hulk, the list goes on.

On site

The festival is split into five main areas combining live music, DJ sets, creative workshops, face painting, food, stalls and more.

Opening times

The festival gates will open at 12.00 midday on Friday. For health and safety reasons no one will be allowed on site before then.
