The family friendly, laid back, fancy dress party with beards, bands and DJs, returns for a 7th year to a new venue Catton Hall, in Derbyshire and is held on Bank Holiday weekend from Thursday 22nd to Sunday 25th May 2014, with music starting on Thursday.

Every year Bearded Theory attempts to break the world record for the most amount of people wearing a fancy dress beards in one place and at one time.

Line-up

The latest additions are Mark Chadwick, Poisoned Electrick Head, Inner Terrestrials, Babar Luck’s Eastend Trinity, Will Tun and The Wasters, The Firepit Collective, Maelor, The Ghouls, Deadwood Dog, Jake and the Jellyfish, Louise Distras, Tony Auton, Seven Little Sisters, Blair Dunlop, and The Bar-Steward Sons of Val Doonican.

Carter USM will headline Friday night, as a UK festival exclusive, The Stranglers headline Saturday, Ali Campbell headlines Sunday, and Doctor & The Medics headline Thursday.

A weekend camping Thursday ticket is priced at £87. A 12-15 year old weekend ticket is priced at £45, a child's aged 6-11 weekend tickets is priced at £25 whether for arrival on Thursday or Friday, children aged 5 and under are free and Family Tickets are priced at £220 (2 x adult & 2 x children). All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

There will a charge for car parking of £10. A live in vehicle ticket is priced at £30.
