The 21st Proms in the Park at Hyde Park is one special day of live performances at Hyde Park in London on Saturday 10th September 2016.

Line-up

All Saints, Tim Minchin and the Cast of Matilda, Juan Diego Flórez, Sir James Galway, BBC Concert Orchestra, Richard Balcombe, Royal Choral Society, The Feeling, and Rick Astley, ABC, and Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons.

The BBC Concert Orchestra under the baton of Richard Balcombe, along with special guest Juan Diego Flórez, and a celebration of the centenary year of author Roald Dahl with a performance of Matilda: The Musical from the Royal Shakespeare Company's multi-award-winning West End production.

Around the UK

Once again the Last Night of the Proms will come from the Royal Albert Hall and will embrace all four nations of the UK.

In Northern Ireland, the Ulster Orchestra returns for a night of music-making at the Titanic Slipways, Belfast. In Scotland, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra take the magic of the Last Night to Glasgow Green, for a night of music on the banks of the Clyde. In Wales, Proms in the Park will be held at Parc Eirias, in Colwyn Bay, with an evening of celebrations with the BBC National Orchestra and Chorus of Wales. All four nations will come together with special joined-up moments, singing together, with all locations having their moment in the spotlight.
