The steampunk festival A Splendid Day Out takes place form Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th June 2016 at various venues in Morecambe.

A full weekend of entertainment with a dark circus feel take place throughout Morecambe at The Platform, Hothouse and the Headway Hotel.

Line-up

Starting with the 'Krak’n Night Out' on Friday the 3rd of June with an eclectic offering from Alice’s Night Circus, Metropolis and Mr B. The Gentleman Rhymer take the stage at The Hothouse.

Saturday the 4th and Sunday the 5th of June will see The Platform host a marvellous itinerant Steampunk artisan market and transformed into a dark circus of delights with The DeatBeats, Ravens Morris, The Carnival of Curiosity, the quite astounding Ash Mandrake. With fire eaters, sword swallowers and much much more.

There's then a chance to dance the night away at the Masked Ball at the Headway hotel with Victor and the Bully and the Canadian band 'The new Jacobin Club'.

Tickets

Fridays Krak’n Night tickets are priced at £12.50, Saturday Masked Ball tickets are priced at £27.50 (limited Tickets Available), and a full weekend ticket is priced at £40.

A Splendid Day Out Festival is now entering its third year and has been growing in popularity as one of the Steam Punk Festivals to be seen at, a festival supported by Morecambe Town council and one being used as a model for further Steampunk events and festivals being held around the country as the genre grows in popularity.
