Moon Duo are the double act of Erik Johnson (Wooden Shjips who played the day before) on guitar and Sanae Yamada (keyboards). Trippy visuals accompanied their psychedelic trance performance, one of the better sets of the week.

Urfaust provided a complete change of direction into Black Metal, a bleak, raw set performed for the most part with largely monotone Germanic vocals, with an even bleaker magenta/cyan duotone lighting effect. A powerful sound for sure by the guitarist/drummer duo, but definitely not the most cheery set of the past week (and that's saying something).

Yob continued the heavy noise, and ended the week with their psychedelic doom metal/ stoner sound; meandering, potent guitar riffs. Oh, and you guessed it, drooooone. A fine act anyway, it might have only been 3 songs, but each lasted 20-30 minutes.

All in all, a good opportunity to see some top bands in an intimate setting; this offered an experience more like attending band sessions than your average festival performance. Great sound again, many of the concerts were being filmed too it was evident. The trade-off was perhaps the lack of atmosphere compared to the big weekend events, the rest of the Butlins site had largely shut up shop, resembling a ghost town. I haven't seen a bad performance in the past 7 days, though obviously some shows have been more to my usual tastes than others. Perhaps a little droned-out at the end of it all too.

These double header weekends have been about ATP celebrating 10 years as I understand it, I'm not sure if In Between Days will continue if ATP returns to the single weekend format.
