The Summer Alcester Folk Festival will take place from Friday 19th until Sunday 21st June 2015 this year at a new home the Holly-Bush.
It is a well known Singers' festival and features workshops, singarounds and sessions, and real ale, plus performances from a wide variety artists.
Line-up
Acts confirmed this year are Lynne Heraud and Pat Turner, Derek Gifford, Les Sullivan, Hector Gilchrist, Andy Cassereley, Chris Lowe, John Morris, Dave Boulton (half of His worship & the Pig), Richard Grainger, Colin Pitts, Martin Curtis, Speake Lowe and Plant, Alhambra, Pete Grassby, Pete Kelly, Gallimauphry & the Dog, Tom Perry and Clive Brooks, Thrup’nny Bits, Tony Barrett, Graham Collins, Skeptics, Moses & the Ref, David Cheffings, Greg Harper, Tony Portlock, and Moira Craig.
Tickets
Tickets are priced at £60, concessions £50. Camping/ caravans £20 per unit for weekend. Cheques and an SAE to:- 89, Salford Close, Woodrow, Redditch B98 7 UL .
There is camping which will available for a fee of around £8 per unit, and campers can stay until Monday at no extra charge. Camping takes place on the usual field which is just on the edge of town and a short walk to the Holly Bush.
