The 21st edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) will take place from Wednesday 19th to Sunday 23rd of October, 2016.

Last year’s anniversary edition featuring 2289 artists performing in 100 venues and more than 500 speakers taking part in the nine different conference streams. The extensive film, art, and audiovisual program has also been expanding each year, and the organisers are committed to growing the day and nighttime activities once again in 2016.

Line-up

The ADE Festival features 300 events and 2,000 DJ's over five days in 100 clubs and venues, with line-up including Black Asteroid, Charlotte de Witte, Dave Clarke, Digitalism, Estroe, Henrik Schwarz, Louisahhh, Luke Slater, Marcel Fengler, Metropole Orkest, Miss Kittin, Mr. Jones, Rebekah, Tommy Four Seven, and Ø [Phase] .

In the past 21 years ADE has grown into a globally renowned platform for the international dance and electronic music scene.

In addition to the extensive live line-up of ADE Festival, ADE Playground offers music enthusiasts a large and varied daytime program including exhibitions, in store promotions, pop-up stores and film screenings, in locations all over the city center.

The business arm of the event (ADE Conference) is recognized as the most important of its kind, presenting a broad range of conferences and networking opportunities that focus on music and technology, VJs & visuals, sustainability, harder dance styles, new talent and the education of students.
